I 100% agree on your last paragraph about Swing. I've been telling it for years: use Swing (with webstart) and the like in an intranet environment. Html is crappy for rich user experience and costs to much time.
But about the POJO's and Spring2 statement ... It's clear you where not there. Yes, I was there, as you know. And saw some very good things, Javaconfig for instance. And of course the elegance of Swing2 xml compared to the previous versions.
Also saw some strange (bad?) examples. Using AOP in Junit tests to prevent 'corrupting' testdata in a (shared) database (or something like that).
And in the POJO session the use of (pojo) domainobjects in the clienttier ... what about decoupling of layers to facilitate indepedent layer/tier development?

@Jeroen: Je bent de enige die er openlijk voor uit komt ;-)

@Jeroen: yay, Swing rocks! I did a lab today with NetBeans and Matisse, the Swing gui designer, and it was great, reminded me of Delphi.
And rest assured, noone's actually reading any of this ;).

Danny,
eindelijk om?
Sjansen met Swing? Laten ze het maar niet horen op kantoor.
Ik dacht dat ik de enige Swing liefhebber was en zou blijven.
